Concerts Dept. Internship

Like many internships, the work is a bit menial but the people and the things I learned while "interning" at AXS TV were invaluable. Working backstage at Red Rocks for a video production is an experience one can only hope for as a young person.

In a thought I had, being a theatre student in college, is that television is not an odd cousin to the theatre or live events, it just does things in a different order. The term "hurry up and wait" can still apply but its setting up for 6 hours to get an hour and a half of footage that then needs to be logged, edited, approved, re-edited, color corrected and then finalized. So, in short, the technical happens post show and not before (a thing I would not have known if I didn't intern at AXS)
